Our group has been running since 2006 and covers a range of topics related to Spanish and South American history, culture and stories, as well as talking about our own news, watching Spanish TV programmes and revising a little grammar. Each session we start with a chat in Spanish, revise some aspect of grammar and present and discuss a topic related to Spain or to Spanish speaking countries. The group is thriving and we’re changing our emphasis a little to include discussions of general interest in order to improve our conversation skills. At a recent session we watched a video in Spanish on how being bilingual helps maintain our brain health - everyone really enjoyed that! The level is A2 to B1. We don’t have room for new members at the moment but do get in touch if you’d like to join the waiting list.
